Join our Cast and Volunteer!
It takes a lot of enthusiastic people to pull off a fantastic festival; and no matter what your talents may be, there are always ways you can help out. Volunteering for the Michiana Renaissance Festival not only gives you access to the events and shows in exchange for your efforts, but you also enjoy the swell of pride you feel as you, along with your other cast members, accomplish great things and bring a fantastic event to the masses.
Every job and task in the cast is important, and many require advanced participation. Some things like setup, construction and crafting will require effort weeks before the festival. Those looking to work as street performers will meet in advance to help them fit into the storyline of the event, and to make sure that costumes, voice and acting are ready for the big show.
So if you are interesting in being part of the cast and volunteering with the Michiana Renaissance Festival, Download the Volunteer Agreement, mail it in, and we'll notify you as things start to happen.
There are also a number of ways to help out the festival including, but not limited to, the following:
- Construction (benches, stages, etc.)
- Marketing Herald (spead the word with fliers, posters & enthusiasm)
- Sewing and/or crafts
- Street Performer
- Parking Control
- Trash Patrol
- Town Watch
- Admisson and Gate Staff
- And much more!

For the first cast meeting of the year the first half of the meeting is open to anyone interested in finding out more about the event. The remaining time/meetings are for those interested in helping as cast/volunteers.
